Estanislao Gavilan Pascual-Ahuir，PhD student in Newcastle University，UK. He is developing reduced physics models to interpret results from numerical experiments conducted with the NEMO ocean circulation model, which are designed to elucidate the role of topography, wind stress and boundary forcing on the structure of the barotropic planetary geostrophic circulation in the Arctic basin.
